I don't know anyone that has ever had nos, and I dont really know much about it but how would you go about re-filling a NOS bottle, how much would it cost, and what kind of shops have the equipment to refill it?

Look under auto racing, performance parts. Any local speed shop should be able to refill it for you. Good Luck.

Also, try welding shops...

yeah, try welding supply shops. If I remember right, mine was about $20. But they have to keep the bottle overnight to fill it, so dont take it there the same day you intend to use it.

it will cost u between 40-60 bucks to re-fill a nitros bottle at any performance shop just call em up and ask. and if you are going to put your car on the bottle i also suggest u do your homework on what u are getting yourself into. alot of guys are just throwing them onto stock engines and blowing them the hell up (being in the movie dont always make it a good idea) i beleave the saying goes 20 shots for every cylender they say my car stock could take a 120shot but 100 is what im going with, after the rebuild im hopeing for 150-200 but like i said do your homework before u buy it.

I was told they had to freeze the bottle to get it all the way full. AND it was $25 in Waco Texas at Dupuy. But since youre sponsored and all, I guess you dont have to worry about the cost anyway.

I don't agree. 120 shot is pushing it in an LS1. THe only way to be safer is to go with a different intake manifold. My friend tried 125 on his 99 WS6 and blew off a peice of his intake manifold. 20 per cylinder is a little off. I know u dont wanna push much over a 100 on a stock V8 he now runs 100 shot. He only uses it sparingly he has his real race car. 69 camaro with a 454 runnin 10.30's all day at 3700' elevation. thats good for mid 9's at sea level.

I think its about 75 shot on a stock 3.8? Nt smart tho if you're gonna be doing it I'd definately rebuild with forged internals

lets not forget if your gonna do a wet shot or a a dry shot, it makes a difference, 120 on a stock 6 can be done and has, i dont tell people to do it, but i know u can but in the long run it will wreck your engine. also smart people (which i am) will do a rebuilt and beef it up to handle the bottle, and also for the sake of it ill add its also a smart idea to run a window switch in your system so u wont be just shooting threw all your gears like some rookies do...smdh....its great to let the computer do the work and it also insures you'll have a engine when its all said and done, or at least raises the chances of u having one afterwords.
