Hey has anyone noticed that when you shift from 1>2 it seems like it hesitates and almost wont give gas? Hmm maybe i need a new controller. Played GT3 way too much....

How's the crx in gt4? I remember in gt2 you couldn't put turbo on it :/

Wow, I'm speechless. The things you can do in this game are just flat out awesome. Remember how in gt3 you could get new rims, oil change and a wash....now you can get a spoiler. The # of cars in it are so mind boggling that I was racing around the whole thing to read ever one. And can you believe, the might DMC delorean is in it. Whoop-Whoop, and to my surprise, a 1915 ford model T is in it as well. :bananasmi

So Shhhhhh, I'm going to go back and play it some more. :D

a bunch of my friends bought it today and i wanna play it really badly... lol. I cant wait til Forza (sp) Motorsports comes out too. In Forza you can actually hear and feel vtec and hear bovs and all.

can't you hear the bov in gran turismo? I remember from 3 I had a evo and a 3000gt that I think you could hear it pretty distinctly in. Damn I'm excited to play this, I just ordered mine online..even though I don't have a working ps2 yet..lol.

What do you mean? You can transfer all your files (cars, $, licenses) over to the new game from gt3?

That was the first car I bought (of course) I have mine up to over 200 hp already with 3rd stage motor upgrade turbo/nitrous, suspension, light flywheel/2 stage clutch =) Pretty cool game!!

I love it how they have so many car's in it!! Even the ugly 1st gen CRX's lol!

no you can only transfer 100,000 credits and a passing grade on the b and a liscene. but if you get medals on the liscene tests you win cars. i got a mazda kabusi '03 for getting silver medals on b liscene, and i tore apart everything in the sunday and ff cups.

no 4g hatch. for once i'd like to see a 4th gen hatch and a 1st gen crx. it always seems to be the other way around :confused:

The prelude si is also listed as a '91, but that's probably the same reason why the civic is listed as a '91 too. And in GT4, you can hear the BOV, it's just you have to change views to where the full speedometer is showing to hear it better. And what do you guys think of the nitrous feature? So far my rsx type-r is just whooping thanks to the blue bottle :D

I had pre-paid a while back, but once they dropped online racing I got my money back. Racing the computer is too easy and very boring, IMO.

Um there is a first gen crx in there. They have a lot of oddballs like the accord lx-i, like a 88 or something.

hell i can't get anything other than bronze, but i guess it really don't matter as long as you get the lic. it took me forever to find the damn crx so i ended upi getting the 85 civic, what a peace of shit. don't hit them brakes to hard, it looks like the car is gonna flip. but it is now turboed!!! 118hp watch out baby!!!

My friend said that they are all hard, the next one is with a damn mercedes or something and it's even worse.

I'm having issues with the Light weight K-cup series. I'm actually using that pos Autobianchi that you get after winning the first cup. Put a stage 1 turbo kit on it and stage 1 weight reduction, and it sucks ass. But I'm broke now after getting a 400+hp twin turbo RX7 for FR cup, and 300+hp '98 Prelude for the FF cup. Can't remember what else I have, but it ain't much!

All I know is traction is a bitch!!!

i said fuck the golds, so hard, i just went for the silvers, and got them, im doing the ib's now too, got all but 2 of em silver. i have 16 cars now, only two of which i bought, the 90 crx sir and a 00 camaro ss for the FR. most of the game i won using the mazda kusabi concept and the acura dnx concept cars, which i won from the licenses.

So far I've put about 6 hours into the game and have done 98 races (being scattered around) but I'm only 13.7% done. This game is just way to big, but it's way to addictive :D

I actually ended up using that autobianchi thing, put some NAWWWWWWWSSSSS on it and some weight reductions then I started whopping up.

The best thing you can do when you start the game if you have those 100,000 credits it go to the tuner shop, click HPA motorsports, and go to there full mod car in the bottom right hand corner. For 36,000 credits, you get a bad ass over 500hp VW that will take out every class it can be in, in the beginner's cup, and the turbo cup in professional. It's a fast ass little beast.

God damnit now I wanna play...

No it doesn't. It features a 3rd gen hatch from what I can remember, but does have a 2g crx.

Actually I don't see any car that resembles a honda civic on that link. Just a mustang, cobra, integra, accent rally car, etc.

im a 1/4 through the game now(25%) have 96 cars, and almost 700,000 credits, none of which i transferred over from my gt3 save. i use b-spec mode so much i almost never drive the actual race anymore. anyway i gotta keep playing, lata.

i almost bought it today then realized I'de probably never play it... Ended up getting a adjustable FPR and some hoses for my mpfi manifold instead. lol. I just can't get into games like I used to...wasted to many years of my life (6 to be exact) hiding in a dark room playing Final Fantasy and other games.. I got need for speed underground 2 like two months ago and i haven't even beaten that yet.

I just finished 1/4 of the game too today. total or 32 cars in the garage and have over 200,000 credits. The reason being is cause I was screwing around in the european cup, tricked out an audi station wagon and had a rough time getting in the top 3. Stupid Station Wagon.

Yea, I made the same mistake, for the boxer cup series in the professional class, I got a WRX sedan instead of coupe and it was a challenge beating it.

remember at day 694 check the used cars I & II and have about $10 mil handy. You'll enjoy the 4 black lmp cars.
