Well I'm sure the title is self explanatory. I buy the tickes yesterday, all is well only to receive today the confirmation with both dates wrong.


Well I call them and they simply take no responsibility and will not help me with anything. I did manage to cancel the ticket minus of course all their service fees so they made money for free.

Problem is that yesterday was the last day to buy advance tickets so all the prices today are far more. I could have bough the tickets for the same discounted price from cheaptickes.com but nooooo i decided to go with Orbitz because I used them often. Of course all my loyalty to them was repayed by bookimg me on the wrong date and refusing to help me.

Its funny that they claim its my fault and that their system never makes mistakes (right a sofware that its not perfect) and its all my fault. Interesting enough in all the times I've used their system I never once made a mistake never mind twice, and I happened to have my roomate looking behind my back and he also saw me select the right dates. But no they cannot do any wrong and cannot help me.


Well if that is how they will treat loyal customers I'll say no thanks Orbitz.


PS. Funny thing is that if i get the job i fly for the inteview I will do tons of international travel and guess who I will not use to book my flights.

At first I thought you were going to be talking about Orbitz gum... Anyway I would keep calling them and bugging them and eventually they will get tired of you and repay all the service charges. I also have heard great things fore Travelocity...

Thanks for the support guys, I ended rebooking trough delta directly and of course since I missed the early booking period i payed ~35% more.

that its imposible since I did get my money back when i canceled minus the service charges. The problem is that I had to rebook again at inflated prices. So the only thing i can dispute its those service charges and they are really not high enough to be worth the trouble.
