My son has a 2000 Durango with the 4.7 engine and automatic. I have a 1998 Durango with the 5.2 and automatic transmission. Do either of the transmission torque converters have a drain plug like they did years ago ? I was going to drain and replace the fluid, but if there is no drain in the converter, I really won't get much fluid out.

the best thing is to drain your transmission fluid again for more pure tranny fluid ,
