Hello out there,
I have a 2004 4runner with a 4.0L V6 and 4 spd auto. I purchased a trail-lite travel trailer with a dry weight of 2200 lbs., wet max weight of 3150 lbs. My question is: Do I need to add a transmission cooler? My 4runner came equipped with a hitch, draw bar, and plug and wiring for a trailer. I'm just not sure if it's OK without adding a cooler.
Thanks,
Scott

If you live in Iowa, then probably not. If you are going to travel in hilly or mountainous regions, then I would buy one.
