Stock 2G turbo boost without an mbc is 14? Someone said 8-9 or something, which is why u need to up it when u get an MBC. Or is that just to control spikes etc?? :bricks1: I was doing 9 psi when i got a boost guage before an mbc. then a leak maybe?

It seems there are 2 numbers poeple are quoting. WG sping rating, and actual boost set by the ECU and Boost Control Solenoid (an EBC of sorts).
1g - Spring pressure is ~10 psi, stock boost is ~11
2g - Spring pressure is ~7 psi, stock boost is ~14
15 psi on a 2g with the BSCR removed sounds just about right. With a 1g BOV it would spike to ~18 psi in my case. I could hold 15 to redline, but no more. So set to 20 psi, it would still drop above 5500 rpm, to 15 psi ultimately. Most poeple seem to hold less, but I spent ridiculous amounts of time checking for boost leaks. On a turbo thats already maxed out, a small boost leak can have a large effect on performance. At the same time, do you think a 2 lb/min boost leak has much of an effect on my current 74 lb/min turbo running at 64 lbs? Doesnt even notice it. On the T25, I picked up .5 seconds in the quarter fixing those leaks ;) But now I'm rambling...

Also, the T25 doesn't blow up at 15psi. Myself and others I know have run 21+psi at the track, and because I was tired of people saying "don't go over 16psi" I tried it on pump gas too. One of my talon's ran 9psi, whether it was a boost leak, faulty BCS, or the stock BOV... that's what it was.
