383 Lt4

Well i was looking at this performance shop on the web, and they will convert your lt1 into a lt4 and then stroke it into a 383. they said that with that combo you'll push out 510hp & 530tq. and it cost about 7.5grand what do you guys think?

Not worth it. The LT4 package isn't what its cracked up to be. You can get better flowing heads and manifold just from porting and you can get a custom ground cam to LT4 specs for 1/4 the price. If you have the money to waste and don't want to do any of the work yourself. It may be the way to go. Good luck in whatever you decide.

yeah my buddy told me the same thing, i think i'm just going to get the hot cam and supercharge it for half the price
