B2600i 4x4 Question

Great forum. Yes, I'm new here. Two months ago picked up a 1993 B2600i 4x4 extra cab. The truck has 79,000 miles. Other than a new radiator and tuneup it's been pretty a pretty good truck.

One day going to work I heard a quiet "pop" and the truck pulled to the right @ 55mph. It felt like I had a 60mph wind hit my drivers side of the truck. I corrected it and kept driving, but it now seemed to have a nagging desire to pull to the right. A look under the truck revealed my passenger side inner CV boot was torn spewing grease all over the frame. I'm not sure if this is related but I did find the driver's side endlink bolt for the swaybar was broken clean off. My buddy and I put it on a lift and engaged the 4x4. All four wheels spin in 4x4.. But I did notice with the RFW off and transfer case in 2H the right front wheel is very hard to spin. I read in another forum that the hub is locked to the axle and the front drive shaft turns all the time.

My question is this: Is this high spin resistance of right front wheel from this bad CV axle, a bad differential, a bad transfer case or is this "normal".
I just picked up two CV axles that will be put in next week.
Any thoughts?
Regards,
Matt
