Anyone have any sugestions on where i should go to get a sponser ship for my 1990 180sx. i'm in the bahamas and i need a sponser ship for may be a few free parts or some cash.

i think you pretty much have to compete in events, like auto-x or drift events. that is if you are trying to get sponsored by parts companies. i think if your car just looks amazing and you want to put Brand X stereo shit and screens in it, they may sponsor you if its gonna be in shows and whatnot.

if people got sponsored as easily as you think (burnout) then everybody would be sponsored. you have to have a solid base so to speak to even be considered for sponsorship. if you have a 13 second car that needs a couple of parts then a company may step up but not if you haven't spent a lot of money already

most companies are looking for inhuman skill or a car and driver that have potential. get out there and compete. get seen and put money into ur car . they will come if u are good enuff

maybe if u make ur car AWD put a nasty rb26dett in it and do a lot of other crazt shit other then that it normally take a insane amount of ability or u knowing people

yeah most sponsored cars are highly modified before they get sponsored. the only other way is if you have connections or you can drift like japanese ppl. :biggrin:
