I am looking for a good way to free up a few pony's under the hood. I was thinking about removing the a/c and power steering pumps. I would like some advice from someone who knows an easy way to do this or from someone who has done this before. And what is the best way to get a belt diagram for my vehicle and to get a new belt after I take thos things off. It is a 5.0 HO mustang engine.

i took my a/c out (i regret it now) all i did was crack the freon out, toom out compressor, that a/c radiator thingy and all the rest of it, and i still have the same belt, i got a pulley that bolts right onto the compressor bracket.

N2O, Supercharger, or Turbo.
You could turn up the timimg, and install a water injection.
You could mill your heads for a high comp ratio.
You could instal a new heads, intake and cam.
You could just be happy with what you have, and wait until you can make power when you have the cash.

I agree with the others I wouldn't remove either especially not the power steering. There are plenty of other mods you can do that will give you a horsepower boost. Pulleys, H pipe, Short tube headers, aftercat system are all good ways to add some hp. Gears are a great bolt on, they won't add any more power but they will wake up your performance.

Nah man... dont get a celica. They dont have much under the hood anyway, just easy to find parts for. It depends how much more power your looking for.
Just a little bit, then go with a cold air intake, or a short ram, maybe a racing suction kit... list could go on.
Just get you a mag. and look around and read up on it.
What kinda car you go anyway?
And def. dont take out your a/c and power steering... idk where you got that idea but... dont.

AC is one thing (although I don't know how much power that will free up) but definatly do not remove your power steering. That is one thing you would surely regret.
