pcv valve

I have a 1993 cadillac seville sts with the northstar of course. I know it is a dumb question but where is the pcv valve located on this engine. My car has is nearing 200,000 so I was told it should be replaced. I know its just a 1 min job. I thought it was the piece that plugged into the top of the air intake hose? Is that correct? I was wondering because it did not want to be pulled out the the hose it was in. It removed easily from the air intake but not the other hose. Dumb question I know but any quick help will be appreciated.
