I just put on a CAI and was wondering if it was a good idea to put one in. I think the most amount of water the filter will get is when it is raining. even then it would not be very much. Still better safe then sorry. Right?? Does anyone think I need a bypass valve?? Thanks

Depends on were the filter is. If it is going right back were it was before but just with out the box and plastic pipes... Then no you don't need to waste your money on it. If you got like a Ice Man then you might want to. Or a AEM one to.

yeah its an Bomz Racing CAI and it is behind the wheel well. but the most amount of water it will see is from rain hitting it, so i dont know if the rain will be enough to do something to the engine. correct me if im wrong. Will the rain be enough to harm the engine??? thanks
