Aluminized as in just a coating around mild steel? I welded my ghetto downpipe that was aluminized wrinkle bends from Advanced auto with a flux-core unshielded welder. Basically MIG minus the shielding gas. Worked for six months until I just welded up my 3" stainless these past three days.

TIG is a very hard weld to master. For most people, it takes about 5 years of practice before they can weld proficiently. Again I say most becuase there are naturals and such. I would say try what you have and just toy with heat settings and wire feed speed(if you're using a wire feed type).

Well...the cat back does bolt to the cat but i doubt the whole ting comes as one like 6-8+ ft piece... So what about MIG and Stick?

ha nope it comes in a 8ft section. i cant tell you how happy i was to see a guy carrying an 8ft long box that said A'PEXi all over it towards my front door. one gigantic box, one gigantic exhaust.

Oh I though you were doing a custom job or something.
I highly doubt HKS requires welding the exhaust together. My Apexi N1 came in a huge box shipped freight.
