My 97 K1500 Makes a ticking noise when I turn sharp. It comes from the front driverside tire and it and does it when I turn right.
Any ideas?

maby I should rephrase "sharp" to hard. the strearing does not have to be maxed out to hear the ticking... I just noticed it todaw the tires have been on there for months.... They are stock size 265 I think

CV joints? They can definitely start making some noises when they are going out.

That's what I was thinking when I read the original post. Are the CV Boots cracked or broken?

That is the weirdest part all the boots look OK. I think they a rattling when I hit bumps. Can the boots be ok and the cv's be bad? The ticking noise is new....

Yes boots can look good but CV go bad try repacking them with grease and see if that helps-Those shaft are not cheap!
