PLEASE help with my 92 passat 2.0 auto

i went to buy this car from my uncle. last time it was started, the alarm went off(the factory alarm). this time, i started the car(dead battery) and the drivers blinker was flashing and the car was running, no alarm was sounding, just incase i pulled the wires in the pass fenderwell apart and about 5 mins later the car stalled. i went to start it and nothing. key would go to start postition and then it wouldn't do anything. then try to start again and key wouldn't go any further. took key out and it turned to start but wouldn't start. the trunk wouldn't open either with the key. i need to get this car running and i need to find out how i can take the alarm out, or just pull a fuse, or wire or something, so that everything works and there is no alarm running with the car. please any body who can help me you will be my own personal god. i have the bentley book but i couldn't figure that stuff out. please help me. Please?

also, 2 other things other then the alarm....how do you fix the button on the shifter(automatic)? the button is broken or something and you can shift the gearshift without the brake. any ideas? and...

the second thing is the auto trans is acting kinda screwy. it runs fine, until it gets warmed up then it won't go into overdrive. everyother gear is fine, just after it gets warmed up, it will not go into 4. really messed up because i need to drive on the highways...i don't have one of those vagcoms or whatever, so any help is so appreciated. any pics of what to check out(like the wires on the trans or anything). please help me.

I'm only aware of a dealer installed alarm for the car. If you really think it's factory you can search up alot of posts in here & the Golf/Jetta forums on how to disable properly. Passat A/T's are notoriously problematic. You really need to have it checked with a scanner. Internal wiring harness failures are common.

if it doesnt switch to overdrive only when its worm all u can do is avoid higways. Your tranny is gone.
