Hi,the stereo fault will either be the head unit faulty or there will be no 12 volt constant feed to the unit.Remove the radio and probe the wires making sure it has the required voltage.
For the battery light flickering it sounds like it's a loose connection at the alternator,i'd check the wire connections...the fact that the light comes on after 4000rpm's indicates that one of the terminals is loose.(how did you test the alternator?)have a play around with all the terminals while someone checks the dash to check for the apperance of the light.
As for the speakers can't you just drill out the old rivets?

i tried the terminals and all the earthin points in car same problem. The battery is chargin as when i put the multimeter across the battery. This is a very weird problem its booked into peugeot on monday. ANy idea if it cld be the belt at all??

the single wire to the alternator will be the wire causing the light to come on....could only be the belt if it's really loose not allowing the alternator to charge enough...did you put the multimeter over the battery while reving engine and under load etc?
