What is the loudest muffler? Make, price, etc.

Get some 2.25 custom piping, and have it replace the whole exhuast pipe including resonator and the catalytic converter and don't get a muffler. That's about as loud as you'll get.

If you're looking at a cat-back then Tanabe Racing Medallion is pretty loud ... Also the Apexi N1 is loud but from what I've heard with my ears it's not as loud as they all say it is ...

that arospeed bomb exhuast or something is pretty loud, but annoying loud.....I wouldn't go w/ arospeed anyway...would never buy their shit! :o :rolleyes: :finger:

why is loud the most important thing? I dont mean to flame, but it seems like performance should be foremost. I actually like quieter exhausts

I had hks hiper on my 98 civic before, and it was loud as hell~!!!! I took it off in a few weeks. I really don't understand why people want a loud exhaust...... :(
Now, I have tanabe hyper on my teg. It sounds nice and deep.:)

When you're young you want attention ... Hey I admit that the first exhaust I had was the 5Zigen Fireball and I took the cat off ... you could hear the muffler before you can see my car .. haha :p

I have a 95 civic with a 2.25 custom exhaust, resonator, and a fireball muffler, i used to like it, until i heard how loud it was outside of the car, so i put a silencer in the muffler now i love it...sounds so nice and deep...it's wierd how well the silencer works....
