Back door windows

I own a 1990 Buick Century Limited 4Dr. Sedan and I am tired of the back windows not rolling all of the way down. Is there a way I can get the stops out of the door so that the windows will let all of the way down. Is there any potential harm in doing this because I don't have kids, I don't have any freaking need for them to let only half way down.

Any help would be appreciated!

The best I can tell you is open up the door panels and see if the tracks for the windows extend down far enough and then see if the windows are infact blocked from going down. I would probally open up a front door panel and compare first just to see if you need to have blocks elsewere of if the tracks seem to capare in actual length. If the above is true then remove the blocks and row the window down slowly. Possiable Complications: A broken window, broken wires, and a few cuts from the razor sharp interworkings of the door.
