Interior Light Question

Newbie Here...

I have done a search for interior lights, and I can't find anything that describes my problem...

I have a 96 S10 Blazer and the interior lights will not go off. I have checked the switch in the back (near the hatchback) as well as the dimmer switch near the lights. I got in to start up the truck and the lights STILL did not go off! So this morning I ended up pulling the fuse. But of course, now I have no horn ( living in MA with no horn! yeah right) I need to know where to start.

Any ideas!

Thanks for all you help so far.

Start by disconnecting all the jamb switches one at a time with the key on. Most common that the rear door switches are corroded and shorted. There are other light switches in the front door latches also (turns the lights on when you pull the handles).

one of the door switches are defective.

I would check the driver's door first.
