what should i go with?

i got ls/vtec in my 91 4 door right now its ls block and b18c head but my friend said he will give me his ls block with b17 head turbocharged which is faster? and how long with thats motor last with turbo?

well, think about it. you have ls vtec , so does he + a turbo. Even though you have a better head, he (depending on what compression ratio, boost pressure, and tuning he has) has the "faster" engine. And about the reliability, that again depends on the boost, compression ratio, tuning, internals, etc, etc, etc. Why not just stick with the motor you have though?

I say keep it all motor. get cams, beef up valvetrain, intake mani, higher comp. pistons, then beat your friends (and dereks) turbo'd car :evillol: Do whatever you want to do though, it is your car and your money.

aiight ill just keep all motor he my friends told me that my motor will last longer than his anyway so yeah thx for the advice..

get some nitrous oxide and youll beat him
