i heard about somthing that you can hook up your iPod to in the car and use it sorta as a head unit, does anyone have info on this or know where i can get it from? thanks

just get the fm transmitter, and it will be hooked up to one of your fm stations, thats what i have in mine. no need for cds anymore :lol2:

yeah its called itrip. but you will always need a headunit. but you can hear your ipod through the car speakers by using itrip.

cool!!!!! thanks, i just couldn't remember the name of it (iTrip), i knew it was out there somewhere. now i can do some research on it, and see if it's worth the money.

there's also a device made by Monster that is an FM transmitter- thing with it is that you don't have to install software stuff on the ipod like the itrip, and it'll also power/charge the ipod. it's more expensive, but your batteries don't die if you're on a long car trip or something. clicky (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=12-2056).
