Differentials - Please help settle a debate

I was hoping you could help me settle a debate about the history of H1 differentials.

When the H1 was first offered to the public did it have open or locking differentials?

If they were open, was a manual locker a factory installed option or did one have to use aftermarket diffs? And when did they transition to lockers?

Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
Chris

actually, the first time an H1 came with factory lockers was in 2003 with the Eaton Electronic ELockers but was only a rear locker, but in 2004 is available rear and front locker

Hummers came with Torsen T-1 torque-biasing differential (limited slip) as the base diff, but Detroit lockers used to be available as an option for the rear.

The new trucks have Eaton selectable lockers available as options, but Torsen T2's are still the base diff. Using BTM, a driver can make the Torsen's behave much like a locker, but they are not true lockers.
