Hey...i was wondering what i should get for my car next if i dont want to get a turbo. I have a 1997 eclipse with a greddy evo 2 exhaust, DC sport header and a AEM intake...what would be the best buy and what would add the most horse power. Thanks.

Anyways, there's really not much you can do if your car isn't boosted. I mean there is, but it's just not very cost effective. The little bit of gains aren't worth the money you shell out for them. Might as well spend the money on some audio or body work.

Eclipse520 Do whatever you want to do to it. Some people on this forum will tell you that if your car isnt boosted then dont waste your money. But the bottom line is its your car. If you want to modify it then go for it. If you have the cash and want to spend it there are alot of things you can do to your car.Granted you arent going to see the kind of gains we will (turbo guys) but that shouldnt stop you from working on your car and adding all the "go fast" goodies you want.
I mean you already have headers, intake and exhaust.Look into:
Bored-out Throttle Body
Increase the opening on your throttle body to increase air intake.
Ported Intake Manifold
Further increases air intake.
Camshafts and Cam Gears
Agressive camshafts and cam gears allow for more power through timing adjustment.
Underdrive Pulleys
Underdrive pulleys can be added at the same time to reduce weight, which means the engine will work less to drive the accessory belts.
Cylinder Head Porting
Greatly increase air flow through the cylinder head. You may need to compensate with more fuel, which means you'll need an aftermarket Air/Fuel Controller.
Air/Fuel Controller
Allows tune-ability of the air/fuel mixture to avoid detonation and major engine damage.
Ignition Timing Controller
And if a turbo kit is not an option then you can do some homework about nitrous if you want to get alittle funky..HaHaHaHa
The information I just provided for you was from www.dsmtuners.com you might want to check them out. Good luck with your tuning.
