General Lee Car Found

Back in 1986 (around June) a "General Lee" car was auctioned off in Oakland as being an original car from the Dukes of Hazzard movie. The vin number is XS29L9B175135. The car is a 1969 Charger R/T with a 440 engine and painted with all the general lee colors. The seats are black bucket seats. There's a metal hanger on both sides inside the car that looks like it used to be connected to a belt above the driver and passenger. It's an automatic with crager wheels. It has a 12-note horn. It seems to have a modified cam with a geared down rear-end. (when you go 60mph, the speedometer shows 80). The license plate used to be "DUKES01". If I knew the owners prior to the auction, this would help. Can you help me get more info on this car? I would greatly appreciate it.

the only thing i can say is every car that was on the show has a certified letter from warner bros. with vin # on it. if orig owner dont have that try getting ahold of WB to see if they have the vin on record.
