1994 Firebird Converter Removal...

All right, I attempted to get at the converter on our '94 3.4L last night, and I had managed to get all of the bolts out and most of it down but the one bolt that's on the left (toward driver's side). I couldn't get to this bolt because my socket wouldn't fit in the gap from where the pipe bends down toward that bolt head. Can this be removed with a 13mm wrench, or do I need to use something else? Reason I haven't tried a 13mm open end wrench on it is because my last in existance was broken some time ago. Anyways, thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated. :)

not a 100% sure, but it sounds right, i'd probably use a "bend" wrench

Thanks...I'm going to have to see what kind of wrenches I can get my hands on, and see if I can get at it. It's been a real pain in the a$$ with regular hand tools.

you can try a 1/2" wrench, it's just a hair smaller than the 13 mm and were its older you may be better off with this one, a torch wouldnt hurt ether

I'll try that if the 13mm won't work out for me...I've been waiting for a reason to go out and buy some new tools anyways. Thanks.
