1986 RX awd turbo

What size motor does a rx awd turbo have. What is the curb weight of the car and is it a good car to buy and is it easy to find parts.

The RX's (and any Subaru turbo from 85-90) had the EA82T engine, a 1.8L turbocharged horizontally opposed 4 cylinder engine. I believe it made about 111hp in 1985/6. I'm not quite sure of the curb weight of them though. They were I guess you could say rally inspired. They have the "rally" suspension package.
Good to buy? Maybe as a second car, but since they are a rare bird, parts may be hard to find, depending on what you need. They do share parts with the normal sedans and 3-door coupes of the day, mainly body panels and some interior parts. The turbo engine though was also found in the GL-10 Turbo sedans, wagons, and the XT Turbo (technically also a GL-10).
You mention that it's an '86, so it's a sedan right? If I remember correctly, they were only sedans until '87 or so. I could be wrong though. One last thing, it's actually 4wd, not AWD just yet. AWD came around 87/88 or so (called Full-Time 4WD by Subaru), the same year as the 4speed auto was introduced. Not to nitpick, just wanted to let ya know. :)

Just another small addition I just remembered.
The 1985/1986 RX's were actually part time 4WD.
I believe all RX's have dual range 4WD (hi and lo), just 87-89's were full-time 4WD

they were sedan 85-86, had mechanical disty with external knock control, basically the same mpfi as the 83-84 ea81 but in an ea82 motor. checkered interior and different colored bodies, part time dual range but 3.7 gear(turbo)
the 3-door came out in 87, although i hae seen late 86 model. the 87 were white with white mirrors, wing, dam, and side ground kit, grey nterior and full time dual range with center diff lock and lsd. sedans the same. the late 86 model i saw was the same, but had black mirror and wing, dam, no side kit but had a little rubber piece like the gl-10 has on the back door. same otherwise.
87 and up models have the 115 hp with optical disty and is the same motor as the 87 and up turbo gl-10 and other models are the same engine, and the mpfi non turbo xt has the same ecu, and the spider intake can be adapted. rare, but 87.5 xt had turbo and spider intake, which would ha the apropriate plumbung to put a spider intake on the RX
the rx sedan and 3door went till 89. sedans otherwise ran thru loyale production thru 94 the 3 door saw one more year as the loyale rs in 90
