2000 taurus oil pressure

Hey everyone, I'm new here. I have a question. I have a 2000 Mercury Sable (I know, sorry...figured I'd get more answers here) with the 3.0l. It has an oil light at idle and a rattling noise from the timing chain area. I checked the oil, it's full and clean, I changed it about a hundred miles ago. Anyone know where I should start looking? Anything common on this? Thanks.

You're losing pressure somewhere...could be oil pump, stopped up tube or strainer, or shot bearings...Doesn't sound good, especially with the noise. Good luck
