2000 acura 1.6 power lock motor

the power lock motor on my girlfreinds car on the driver side went... now all other three power locks work but this one doesnt. does it take a lot to replace it? like what im asking is: is it enough to remove the door panel alone or is it hidden some place deep inside and just easier to get some mechanic to fix it for me. and also does anyone know how much those motors cost approx? thanks for any info.
(im pretty sure that the motor is the same on this car as it is on the civic)
