Alright, it's the aftermath. Let's hear all the good, horror stories of yesterday. Also let's hear from those last minute thoughts and how they turned out.

I went out and worked in the garage ... best V-day ever !!!

Actually, my wife is not one of the mushy women who gets off on V-day, so we don't celebrate it !!!

P.S. - Raz, I assume your asking about Valentine's Day? Your a little vague in your question !! :lol:

i hung out with a girl that is a very serious prospect for girlfriend material...

all we did was talk for an hour, but it was awesome. she wants to hang out later this week, which is always a good sign.

other then that, pretty textbook day.

Fairly long day at work, but my wife had a delicious NY strip and king crab dinner waiting when I got home. It was a bid day as we counter offered on a house.

i personally mostly believe that valentine's day is a hallmark holiday. i don't usually do anything special for it. when i hung out with that girl last night, we actually called it an "anti-valentine's day" celebration. lol.

LOL, I think it is a "hallmark holiday" and that's why I don't go all out for it.


What I did was last minute, call me Mr.Procrastinator. I snuk into her house while she was still at school and left her a heart-shaped pillow with arms holindg half a dozen pink and red mixed roses (colours have symbolism behind it) on one side and a box of chocolate on the other...made her bed and left her a note taped to her door.
Classic gifts but done in a creative way...she loved it. Also watched Hitch that night...well, some of it

I gave her all her presents a couple weeks ago cuz I didn't think I'd get to see her. But guess what? I'm down at her campus and sure enough she was pissed I didn't have anything else for her. So I wrote her a poem on her myspace thing so everyone could see it and we did the usual a couple times.

Chinese.

i chilled with my ex, drove 35 mins each way to bring her coffee before i went to work!(she doesnt drive). then after a 10 hr day, i went and picked her up and got some for a few hrs!!!!doing something nice and surprising is better than hallmark(tho i did buy her a card!) i also got her chocolates, stuffed animal(devil bear)some bud and cigs!!!!)she loved it! :boink:

i got my wife the usual flower/bear/chocolate and told her she wasnt getting anything big because i gave her a house in October, a wedding ring last month, a new car this month and a baby due next month. i told her if that wasnt enough then pack it up. (it worked for her birthday too)

I didn't even remember it was V day yesterday. The perks of being single...

Long night of eating and watching movies by myself. But i did get to talk to THE greatest girl ever all night so i was pretty happy.

Valentines day is actually my most depressing day of the year. I get absolutely nothing except stuff from my parents. Another V-day, alone....wellll, it's been like that ever since I remember. Never got one valentine, never got one card from someone other than family.

Well, since it was her bday also yesterday, I bought a cake and lit the candles. we both had class most of the day so we couldn;t do much, but we went to this coffee house place, which sucked and then her friends wanted to go to a bar so i stayed home and slept cause i had an early class. So, pretty much, i didn;t do too much. I did sneak into her room and left her card, flowers, and lindt chocolate there for when she woke.
