Turbo LS1

I was looking for a twin turbo setup for an LS1 and found one for the GTO/Commodore.

Do any of you think this could be made to fit a 98-02 LS1 Camaro?

how many kw/hr = how much hp?

Why not go with a single? Just as much if not more hp. The newer BB turbos spool up just as quick as twins for less $$.

Personaly I like the IDEA better for twins. So as long as they at least beak even in performance, I'll go for them.

It's mostly..... I can't think of the word. Not looks, but sort of. I don't like the idea of taking the exhaust on both sides, running it through the turbo, just to split it again at the rear. I'd rather have two seperate units.

I do know of a twin kit in development for the LS1 Camaro right now. It will be ready by late spring. I'll keep you updated.

Why do you have a problem with this? having 8 cylinders drive one turbocharger is why a single turbocharger setup is more efficient.

where do u go to actually buy a turbo form force fed fabrications...u cant buy it off their site n my dad really likes the lt1 setup

Really there is no need for twins anymore, they were used once to battle with spool up times but, since ball bearing turbos thoes problems are PAST history.

I ran my TE-66 Dual ball bearing turbo a bit before I pulled the engine and there was no difference between that turbo and a procharger. Absoultely no spool up time at all. I flat footed the car and the boost came in soo hard that it blew the tires loose going 60 MPH and I'm not talking about a little chirp, im talking first degree murder on the tires.
