I just read the tutorial about how to make a coilover and I have a question. I understood it, but my problem is that if you look at the pics, the coilover's top mount for the spring is on the frame. I am working on the revell civic coupe and the coilover is one peice with a top and bottom mount. How DO I get around this problem? If I cut it and glue it, I'm affraid that it may not hold up good.

If you do it correctly and use superglue, it should be fine.
Unless you plan on playing with your models there really shouldn't be a great deal of stress on the part.

Hi,

Don't know if this will be of any help but if you take a look at page 2 of this thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=102342&page=1) there are some brief instructions of some working suspension I put on a Subaru a couple of years ago.
