That's the date of the post. That story has been on the internet for years. Probably since the metro 1.0's were new. Please, refrain from bringing up old topics. It's forum pollution. n00b.

Just because it is an old post doesn't mean every one in the world has read it - i haven't and
I was thinking of the others who haven't either that wouldn't mind reading it for a healthy laugh.
I got a good laugh out of it and thought of sharing it with others for the same - no one has to read it if they don't want to.
it is only for laughs- not to belittle anyone-unless of course it becomes your wish to view it as such.

I am a proud and happy owner of a Metro cousin- Prizm. it has all the horse power I need to get me from point A to point B w/o the gas guzzling effect;
I would rather burn my God given money on better things than horsy powering my life with gasoline.

Lol, well, mine wasn't a "pollution" post, cause it was the first time it was posted here. Yours has been posted here several times in the past year or 2. Just tryin to keep the peace here. Thought you were just another jackass tryin to smear out boards :smokin: Us, being the armpit of AF, we get a lot of that. But cheers for owning a geo :) Sorry if the reaction was harsh, but constantly, we have newbies (less than 20 posts) that join just to bash the geo section. Oh, and if anyone remembers the Metro with the GNX motor swap, the owner just joined our forums at Teamswift.net. If you're a member there, he's got pics of the frame and cage setup he built for the car.

Great story.Reminds me of the time I took on a Neon with my Metro.I pulled the holeshot and got into 2nd.I then noticed my tach was bouncing off the red,when I looked back up the Neon was past me.Oh well!:)
