No need to guess... I am not mechanically inclined but I am trying to get educated so hopefully I will know what repairs need to be made instead of being told I need a whole new rear lift. I have a 2-door Blazer and yesterday the latch that releases the window stopped working. I can hear it making a spinning noise but there is no pop for the rear window release. I read in my owner's manual that there is an emergency release from the inside panel using a screw driver to manually move the release. I tried that and still just get the spinning noise - no release. What is the cause and can it be repaired for a price less than the cost of the car?
