The 9 was on backorder and once again, I'm not waiting. So I went with the ZRS-8 for $490. I'm sure I'll be happy. A week from Wednesday I should have it and have my box built by then and be ready to rumble.

Yeah, painstakingly coming together using what LITTLE free-time I have. This thursday I'm constructing the enclosure. Where would I find those little connectors that the subwoofer connects to and then connect to the amp from it? I have no clue what they're called. Also, what gauge wire should I use with the subwoofer?

Edit: Nevermind, found it on bcae. Terminal cups.

Use at least 12 gauge 10 or 8 gauge would be nice. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/mobile-emotions/speakter.html

And for the amp I should use 2gauge power lead with a 100 - 150amp fuse?

100's not gunna cut it...... do 150..... and yea 2 AWG should be fine....... does the amp have on board fuses?

Not sure, can't find anything about that with the ZRS-8.

ohh that sucks. I'm guessing if it does have onbard fuses its like 4 or 5 30's

Why would that suck? If it doesn't have onboard fuses, what would I have to do differently on install in comparison to an amp that would have them.

No it doesn't, unless they're internal, and since it's almost impossible to open the amp up it's hard to say. I have mine on a 150 and it's fine.

You'll probably have to do a bit of trimming to get a 2awg into the terminal

yea 150 sounds right unless its mucho efficient then 120.

The terminals are 4ga. But I want to run 2ga. to get all the juice out of the amp that I can.
