WRX cruising range

MPG must be considered to buy a car.
I'm thinking of getting a WRX and I wonder that WRX consumes gas so
quickly.
Can WRX travel from LA to Las Vegas without stopping any gas station?
What about Impreza 2.5 RS?

23mpg City / 30mpg Hwy ( with Automatic Transmission somewhat less ), Fuel Tank Capacity of 15.9 gallons and you have a cruising range between 300 - 450miles!
In Germany ( without the Speedlimit!!! ) you can drive 12.2mpg ( WRX approximately 7.5mpg ) with the 2.5RS! Not so economical the Subaru Flat-4 Engine!:disappoin
BtW. I had a Daihatsu Charade GTti with a little 60Cubic inch 3 Cylinder Turbo - Fuel Consumption 10mpg ( 100 octan Gas ) and a Fuel Tank Capacity of 9.3 Gallon:disappoin
