Sup guys I've been in the car market for a couple months now and just got a 2000 Grand Prix GTP but she looks like she might be trouble even though she only has 50k miles on her. I've been looking into some Sube's and a couple other cars if the one I just bought isn't worth keeping. I was just wondering what you guys' opinion on the 2.5 RS Impreza 2 door was? Any year from 98 to now. Stuff like reliability, fuel consumption, safety, interior space, power/torque output. I've done some research but I figured I would ask people who have driven 'em too.

I'd give the '98 coupe a B for reliability but A for interior space.
The reliability gets the B because they have a history of head gasket issues.
Interior space, I'm 6'2" and never felt it was small in any way.

Oh, I was comparing it to other cars on the road... say, the Legacy or something. It's got great interior room for a compact, which is what it is.

Head gaskets were less of an issue with 99+ SOHC motors, but it's worth giving it a good once-over anyway.
I'll also agree that interior space gets an "A", but it'll feel compromised because of having to climb over the seat to get into the back. I wouldn't make my grandma climb back there. I'm 6'1", and I keep my seat pretty far forward and sit all the way upright. I've carted around four adults with no problem. Don't bank on carrying five, though; My center rear seat belt is removed altogether.
About power: Just don't drive a WRX or STi and you'll never know the difference. But if you do get a taste... you'll start thinking... :uhoh:
