lifting a low car

hi, i know this is completely off the subject but here goes. i got a couple questions. my car is lowered about 2 in. i got 17 in rims and a body kit. i was wondering how you guys lift your car up. i know, on the front of the car, theres a little bump under the front bumper and i can barely get my jack in there but it does fit, i got a floor jack.but the back is a different story, there use to be the tow hook you're supposed to lift it on, but the new back bumper sits so low it blocks it. sometimes i just stick it under the frame area and lift it, but i don't know if thats stable or not. well, here are my questions, how do i lift up the front and the back of the car to put the whole car on jackstands? if i lift the front up, there is no way i can stick the jack under the back of the car to lift it up, there is probably only 3 in of clearance in the back when the front is lifted up. okay next question. what do i do if i get a flat tire, b/c i think when i get a flat, that the front of the car will be so low the jack won't fit under the front bumper, and i can't stick the jack under the side because right now i can barely stick my foot under the side skirts. and my other question was how do i lift the sides. i was wondering if they made special low profile jacks to lift really low cars. any help would be great. thanks and by the way its a 97 civic coupe. i got a bomex front , and black widow sides and hyper back bumper. i know there are alot of cars out there that are extremely low, i just don't get how they jack their cars up.

Strip the interior for racing and replace all vital components with titanium or carbon fiber equivalents. This way they car will be so light you can lift it with your little finger and just slide jackstands under it with your foot.

Jacking is fun but without this toy, jacking is not the same without it ... LOL!

yeah 1450 is quite a bit much. also even with that i dunno how to lift the sides, bucause the side skirts block the frame, i might have to stick a piece of wood under there. any other suggestions thanks

My bro's Accord is LOW!
When he/we gotta lift it for work, we/he uses the stock/OEM jack to raise it up a bit. (On occasion, I pull mine out to get the other side.) Then, we get the plain jack to jack it up from the front. After that has been done, we can go to work...

That's exactly how I lifted my car when it was low ... I have OEM hand-crank jacks ...

Just get two floor jacks and someone raise the front and the other raise the back OR just pump a few times in the front and then run to the back :hehehe:

OEM jacks sit lower than most floor jacks ... I had less than 3" and no regular floor jack could fit ...

place a brick in front the front tire and in front of the back tire and drive up onto the bricks this should give you enough room to fit a jack. thats what i got to to for my Rx7

My shoe doesn't even fit under my kit ... so unless its a really small brick :)
