i want to do the ls swap and who better to ask but ls owners so tell me if you like the b18b dose it take good to mod you know pros. and cons.

i like my LS, i took realy well to my nos kit and i was doing a 75sht. every thing i hav done to it seems ok. i have skunk2 intake, dc headers, short ram intake, 255fuel pump, b&m fuel press reg. plan on doing cams maybe, and it is the best motor to go turbo.

very true...
but if you're considering turboing it then b18b all the way. if you want to stay N/A, for power, i'd say the b18c1 or b18c5, just because it already has 30 (c1) or 55 (c5) more HP from the start

b18b is not vtech thanx gg i had one DOHC 1.8 NON V-tech if i new how to wave i would wave right back

B18a is just an older b18b... also non vtec.

Ok 1st it is VTEC and nothing else, V-tech makes cheap crappy ass phones.
2nd your post makes no sense.
And 3rd we all are aware that the B18B is NON VTEC.

whatever then thats prob why i never hurd it was vtech because it was crappy anyway vtech i hate to burst everybodys bubbles isnt really anything besies getting more air flow into ur engine faster i had some kid the other day tell me he was shifting better because he had vtech. so a if i look at a b18a ur telling me at the top left of the motor ima see a vtech soleniod?

ok, slow down with your typing. it doesn't make any sense.
the b18a is NOT a VTEC motor. therefore, there would be NO VTEC solenoid anywhere in or around the car unless you did some kind of swap. like whtteg said, it's VTEC not vtech. if you're interested in vtech, heres your website www.vtechphones.com

You clearly have no clue what you are talking about.
VTEC is more than just getting more air flow to the motor, it is the technology that can incorperate two different camshaft profiles in one camshaft. One profile with short duration and medium lift for low rpm power and then a profile with longer duration and higher lift for high rpm power.
