I have a 94 3kgt and the speakers in the dash are fried. What do you reccomend for replacements? I cannot find anything other than tweeters that will fit in the stock holes and the dealer wants $63.00 each for factory replacements.
Thanks,
Chris

Don't get factory speakers/tweeter cause they'll just blow again. My passenger side is blown as well but I haven't had the money to replace them. There are a couple sites that you could go to to find a replacement. Do a search on "scratchy tweeters" or something and you should be able to find something.

The most popular replacements aren't made anymore (JBL GTO220 midrange tweets), Your going to have to get something and do a little fab work to get it to fit. There is a thread on the 3SI.org forums about some rockford fosgate ones that are easy to get working. I'm going to get some if I buy the car I'm looking at since it has the same problem.
