Yankee Challenger (paint schemed)

I love this kit, nice detail and it just screams mean. I don't like the vinyl roof on this car so I'm going to change that. I also wanted to have a little fun with the paint scheme (i know it's weird, but I guess I'm going with more of a touring than a dragster look.
The interior has wood acents(printed on testors decal paper...but not applied as a decal, except on dash, to give it that hard, shiny look I just used white glue to attach with paper backing and all.

The wood inside is a nice detail. Did you decide on the rims already?

Call me conservative if you like, but I fancy the third option, don't know about these big rims!? Looks cool on the right car and if not to big it's ok. But again, I like it with some more rubber around the rims. Nice paint job and interior. How did you do the wood panels? It looks great, tell us your secret....please!

Nice rims! but i would go with the second and third ones but in "18 that would fit the car like the glove.

The more I look the hood, the more I see there a kind of indian totem, or tikiman, or Maya god . I don't know, the way the drawing goes with the holes in it, it looks like a head or something ... I don't know, maybe I'm too :jump3:

Well she's almost done, just have to throw on the side view mirrors and a polish here and there...and on the shelf she goes. Probably would have been my best build ...had it not been an AMT (i.e. poor fit and minimal detail)

now there's an idea! A transformers logo...hmmm. I was wondering what I could put on sides of the car (i thought it looked a little plain). This could be like the vehicle version of a robot named Challangus Prime or Road Mauler or something. Hhehehe
