EGR valve

Engine light just came on in my girlfriend's 1991 Canadian Tercel. Does anyone know if this model has an EGR valve and if so where it would be located? We have looked around the engine but can't seem to locate it. Does anyone know of any online diagrams that show the location? The Hanes manual diagrams only show an egr on the California model. Thanks for any help.

Did you find out where the valve was? I didn't realize yours was from canada.
