MY fight againts HONDA

im tired of driving and being surrounded by f*ckin hondas im jus so tired... I really hate the "lawn mower muffler sound" the nipple lights the gold trims, an the 20'inch fuckin rims on them hondas an also the people who drive hondas an have a Mr. bad ass attitude. I hate it when im driving an im doing 10-15kms over the speed limit an i get some honda guy who either cuts me off or trys to drive faster then me to prove a point!! I would like to know what that point is????

i hate civivs too everyone who has one puts that big ugly spoiler on it and the blu glowing honda symbol. but lets face it these hondas are cheap and easy cars to hook up. u can get almost 2 civivs for the price of a G35.
and have you ever looked in car mags like super street half the stuff in there is for civics, there the cheapest and easyest car to hook up. dont get me wrong, thats a good thing, but everyone has one. thats what i like about my G20, not to many of them around. think about when u go for a drive you see 25 civics to every G20.

Maybe if you just slap the badge on there. Especially if you also put on other Nissan badges such as v-spec or GT-R. What if you spend a couple thousand on all the parts that are different between a G20 and a Primera, and actualy transform it into a Primera? Is that hypocritical and ricey???

I don't want to pull the "someday my car is going to be..." card but, yes, I want a Primera and converting a G20 is how I am going about that. But I am not, "Tryin to trasform my G20 into Euro Primera" by slaping the P11 Primera badge on a P10 and call it European or Japanese Spec Primera.

Your ignorance shines through as well. I happen to drive a Civic as well, and I don't have anything you mentioned on my car. P10's are also just as cheap to come by, as say an Accord.

I think civics are way too played out. There are way too many civics on the road that are decked out and they just all look the same. Does anyone even care if they see a decked out civic? They are just like their own little car company now or something. But the Primera was never brought into North America. Just because I put Nissan badges, and Primera badges on my car, does not make it a Primera. It is still a Infiniti G20.

I don't know why people hate so much. You see the ricecop webpages on the net, you see people bashing other people's cars - and so on. You love your G20, just as much as any Honda owner or Acura owner loves theirs car.

My greddy evo has a big exhaust tip , I'm sure ppl will call me a ricer because of it, but I dont care what ppl think - I Love my car, I love what i put on it, I don't regret it. Personally, I love to see rice. I love to see owners so in love with their cars that they overstep the boundaries of good taste to express their love. I may not like their style but I love to see the passion that motivated it. And though I don't like Honduh, I don't hate it either. Do I hate the drivers sometimes? Yes. When they're driving inappropriately (such as passing me -though I'm speeding- on a double yellow curved road), but I dislike ANY driver who does this.

I do feel I should mention that I have never met a Camry who wasn't all over the road. I have been cut off and tailgated and sped past and everything else by twice as many Camrys as all Honduhs put together.

What if? It is still a G20. You register it as a G20, it is a G20. It's no different then a person putting a Type R badge on their car. Putting a Type R lip on their car, and putting Type R accessories. It's still a DX/HF/Whatever.

Yep, you're right. It is pretty hard to talk on the phone, and type out a paragraph properly. But at least I have one or two misspelled words, or on or two bad sentences. Versus a whole post typed like a 10 year old.

oh man that sucks....should move down here to southern cali...get the best of both worlds....get the sunny cali weather and snow in the winter in the mountains...all within 3 hour drive...well actually beach is 25 minute drive and snow is 2-3 hour drive....It finally rained here yesterday...but it was only one day and haven't seen rain for a long long time now....

The worst part is that now I'm reading back through my posts and they don't make a whole lot of sense! Maybe I need to get more than 3 hours of sleep, huh? Yes HONDA is the weapon of choice by many and for that same reason there is going to be a lot more Honda rice then you will see with Nissan and Infiniti but if you where to fix up as many of these vehicals as Honda you would probably have just as much rice. I don't hate any specific car driver but I can say I am glad that I chose to get my G20 over the Honda I was looking at buying. I like the G because I have only seen a handful of them on the road since I got mine. I love the fact that not everyone has the same car as I do.
What I do hate is the people the have to bring excessive attention to themselves. The people that drive me crazy the most are the ones that have the systems that everyone else in the freakin state has to listen to their music and their bass. Now dont get me wrong I love music most all types and I am pretty tolerant of others and their music tastes but when they are blaring their radio so loud that I can't hear mine it drives me crazy. Why should I be forced to listen to their music. Yeah sure we all want attention but at least have a little respect for the others on the road they don't want to have to put up with you blasting you music I know it doesn't sound better when it is tearing your car apart because of all the bass. Go to a competition if you wanna blast it that loud. Oh the other people that piss me off are the ones that can't hang up their phones when they drive. I only mention this cause I have almost been hit several times by people that are talking on the phone while they are gabing about the latest gossip on the damn phone. Hang up, get a headset , or get off the road.

please don't rag on us poor littel underprivelidged camry owners. most of us are grandmothers or housewives(not me personally).:p but the generalizations ar really going to far here. there are plenty of people who want a nice car but can't afford it. So they can do other things, like mod a civic. but rice is not nice. personally I want to pick up a mr2 turbo in a year or two for less then a civic would cost but more fun and might last longer anyway. that is my taste. others are different. most people on this sight are of the more classy inclination. buts thats just us.

i am an unfortunate owner of one of these pittyfull excuse of cars, not only are they crap to drive but they are a shame to drive, and i would haveto say its the car not the driver.

the power steering is poor, people often ask if its power steering or not

the steering wheel stiffens up really hard if you make more than 2 revolutions heaps fast (so going around a round about fast is not really posible) (i think this is done on purpose so drivers dont tip the peice of shit over from too much weight shift at high speeds)

the body roll makes the car lean, corners must be taken at 30kmh to avoide having your head out the window.

having a very sharp torque curve makes the car feel fast even though its slow, or maybe when they overtook you it was accedental acceleration,
because the car lags alot when you put the pedal down, so maybe it would of hit the torque curve and it would of all-of-a-sudden accelerated wich my car does sometimes.


i can go on but i wont, call me "picky" with my cars but my dumb ass dad payed 5grand for the peice of shit. and tommorow i gotta go out and buy fucking parts for it cause my friend nearly totalled it cause the car is a peice of shit :mad:


oh and about being "all over the road" that again would be the poor power steering,

you really gotta drive the thing to experiance it.

around my area only the 89 and below camrys seem to be poorly driven

I started reading this thread, and when I got through with about 3 posts I stopped reading and felt I should reply. You people need to stop talking shit. Not all honda's are ricey with big ass spoilers altezzas and washer lights! Yea there are some fagets that have their car "hooked up" that way, but to REAL enthusiasts, we don't like that shit. There are people who KNOW how to hookup their cars and then theres the ones that just throw altezzas on the back of their cars when their cars are bone stock. There are lots of guys/girls w/ nice clean rides and of course some with wack ass ones. Atomic-G and KBSlacker are right, people just need to shutup and let people do what they wanna do. Hey, I think I just met two Camry owners I like..you and MaFi0s0. I am not trying to make a generalization, it's just that the statistics seem to have ganged up on me in this case.

As for the housewife and grandmother bit, I live in a town populated almost exclusively by college students and retirees, so the driving is exceptionally bad. There are housewives, but too often they're on the phone with someone apparently giving them urgent instructions such as, "Weave across all lanes of traffic NOW" and of course they seem to be compelled to comply.

The Grannies tend to be worse...heading the wrong way in traffic, forming the infamous "Utah Roadblock" driving side-by-side 25mph under the limit, never checking their blind spot, or as happened to me recently (and resulting in the tragic death of my first love, a 1991 Sentra), an oldie pulled out into a 45 and then stopped. In front of oncoming traffic (me). And did I mention he was attempting to turn left across a double-yellow which is illegal anyway?? (To be fair, he was driving a higher-end Chrysler.)

Ah, but enough of the sweeping generalizations. If you drive in a legal, respectable, and predictable manner, IYQ.

I always say, Make sure everyone can see you, but drive so they'll never need to.
