i'm looking into a redline. any problems with them?

also, wondering if getting a regular ion now to save money, how much trouble it would be later to mod it into a redline clone.

thanks for any info!

What would you be looking to do it? engine swape? those ecotec engins are pretty expensive, like 6, or 7 gs Can, and thats just for the normal 2.2ltr engine, nevermind the 2.0ltr supercharged engine thats in the redline

it's okay, i bought a '98 200SX SE-R (Nissan) last year that puts a Redline to shame (for one third the price : )

It might be 1/3 of the price, but a redline would blow the doors off that nissan of yours (140 hp vs 205 hp supercharged) unless yous is has some major mods done to it. As for looks yeh I think the nissan is a little nicer

i really don't want to get into an argument here... i just wanted to supply a review of the Redline. It wasn't as slow as an Acura RSX Type S or anything, but it must be a lot heavier than my Nissan, because it was not that quick, despite the supercharging. You should drive them all yourself, and not take my word for it. Of all the newer cars i drove, the Redline *was* the most exciting, certainly! : ) it is loads better than the Tiburon, for instance, which feels rather shoddily put together, has bad handling, terrible braking, and the ridiculous spoiler makes navigating parking lots treacherous, if you care about not running over people's children!
