How was Boxhill?
I have been busy working on my Stang, getting it ready for Santa Pod, and to sell the darn thing, so I can afford to build my project GTR. Between the Mustang, the Black GTR, the Silver GTSt, and the project car my time has been limited. I will be going to Japfest, are you going to that Vincent?
What did the garage say about the shuffling? I hope they can sort it out. Those are some nasty turbos, meaning very powerful:D
Cheers,
Tony

Its funny how different the Bayside Blue paint job looks in different lighting... The car is going to be absolutely sick once the valence and skirts are on... Cant wait to see.

I am fighting a problem with my fuel pressure right now, so I have not drivin it that much as of late. When I do get out, she does turn some heads, but the typical Brit has no idea how fast it is.
Vincent takes very good care of his GTR, I mean really, really, good care of it, almost to the point of you would think something is wrong with the guy:D j/k man!
You guys should see it in person, it is a site to behold. It looks good in pics, but in person, holy smokes its perfect!
Twin are more effecient, plus he just spent the cash for those new GT-RS turbos, so I seriously doubt he would even consider going single. Singles are for the Supra guys, so they can get rid of that sequential crap.

I dont think luck has much to do with it, as much as hard work and location.
But ok...
And I agree SkylineUSA, you can look at pictures of a car all day, but when you see it in person... There is nothing that can touch that.
I live in a fairly wealthy town, so I am fortunate enough to see Porsche GTs, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, etc etc almost every day. And since I work at a grocery store, where I am almost constantly outside getting carts... I see the best of them drive by. (the store is on a hill almost, so I can look down on the street and see everything)
And every so often, I see them pull in and park :D
Theres just something about an idling V12 that makes my day

Thanks for the kind words specially Tony!
No, I don't think I will go for a single, but I may go for a pair of 2835s if the tuner cannot reduce the shuffling of the GT-RSs further as its really annoying!

Vincent,
Your are welcome, man. I can honestly say I did not really like the R34s until I saw yours. Yours has a very good stance.
I really like the GT-SS turbos, that is all I am going to say:)

Can you post pics of the engine. And Skyline your mustang is an 87. I thought you had a newer one like late 90s and up. That would really turn heads. How does a stock Camaro and mustang compare to a stock skyline?

Stock, who leaves their car stock:D
Actually, My GTR cost around 45k when it was new, and you can tell the build quality is so much better in the GTR.
As for power, the GTR is very smooth, a nice wide power band, the Stangs power is a lot more torquey, but that is to be expected with the displacment advatage that it has. The Stang just pins you in the seat, while the GTR just keeps a constant pull up to 7800rpms.
The ride in the GTR is very nice, not too soft, not too firm. Very nice for the road. The Mustangs is a lot less refined, but then again it has a solid rear.
Put it this way, the GTR is the dream date you have always wanted to bring home to Mom, while the Stang is the slut that just keeps coming back for more. She is good, but just not the girl you would want to marry.
I am building a hybrid of the 2, hopefull I can make it a decent car to drive. Ford drive train (because its cheap and perfect for the 1/4), and have the GTR body and interior to keep the build quality up, and have the look of the Skyline. I am not too fond of the Fox body, but the drive train RAWKS!

We knew the Skyline definately had better refinement and ride qualty. But what I ment was performance. How would a mustang or camaro or trans am compare to a skyline stock off the line from the factory? With no mods to any of the cars.

Performance, road course? 1/4? 0-60? Top Speed? Skid Pad? Slalom?
For the 1/4, they are all about the same, but with just simple mods say around spending $1000, the GTR would beat the other 2 in the 1/4 hands down.
Now if money was no object, the Mustang would beat the GTR in the 1/4, but that is because in the States they have been perfecting that for almost 40 years, so they have a head start.

You know how the U.S. craves JDM cars. I heard that Japan like USDM cars. I was shocked to hear that because I thought they knew their stuff was better and preferred their stuff to ours, but then you want what you cant have. I heard that some of them try to modify their cars to USDM spec the same way we try to make our cars like the JDM spec cars. I didnt think they really liked our cars and technolgy because except for a few model of cars we have (that you can count on your hands) here, what do we have that they dont?

Naturally Blonde hair? :p
No but seriously, Im sure that not all Japanese tuners crave USDM parts... Like in America, there are die hard 'domestic only' types... And then there are the ones who are the exact opposite. It's probably the same way in Japan.
But I suppose they do it to stand out a bit... *shrugs* Guess it's not a big deal.

Thank you exactly there are people who really want corvettes and mustangs over there.
