Hey all, My 91 Civic DX has developed a weird clacking noise when im stopping, i can only hear it when im driving slowing and i go to slow down. i does it until i stop. Other times i can hear a kind of whurrring sound from the right rear drum when i am dri ing close a wall or something. when i barely press the pedel i get a brief clack noise from the cable or something. Are all these inter-related?
The car has 129000 miles and had a service at 127000 and i remember noticing they put copper grease on some part of the brakes.

could be your brake pads are so worn that your to the rivots and its eating into the rotor. have your brakes checked

They checked them here for the NCT not so long ago, so they should be fine wear wise

could also be just parts getting old ...mine did it for a while...front still dose it (accident) and i made it go away by working on my onw shit...got new rotors/ drums , pads, and hard where all the way around. only my front passanger side dose it cuz the bushing is smashed (on the control arm so thats making the noise)

Its like an offical honda garage so they should know whats it will be, but most of their answers involve replacing eveything and not acutally repairing it, thanks ill look into it
