i couldnt pass up this turbo my dealer had in stock.
it's a brand new Garrett Performance series T04 "S". it's a T3/T04 hybrid, .70A/R compressor trim, .63 A/R exhaust Stage 2 turbine. The inlet is 4" inner diameter, and compressor outlet is 2.25" inner diameter. the exhaust outlet is also 2.25" ID.
better yet, lemme just show a few pics beside a pack of cigarettes:

Hey Drift...nice turb
Can you tell me where I can find more technical infoa about turbos? or maybe you can clarify for me. My biggest question is about trim. What is it? Sounds like it has to do with the pitch of the impellers.
Thanks man... :smoker:

trim refers to area to radius ratio... a measurement to assist folks in determining the flow rates of the turbo's compressor and turbine sections.

here's another pic of the same turbo, but this time there's a compressor wheel from a T3 .45 A/R trim Garrett turbine.

From the looks of the compressor turbines, the lower the trim the quicker it pushes boost but the terminal(max) boost will not be as much. Is this correct, or ass backwards?
Thanks.
Thanks.

So are you putting that on the accord or prelude listed in your sig or neither?
