hey finally got rid of my t25. i just got a used big16g. the thing has absolutly no shaftplay adn the fins are perfect. however i was spinning it with my finger and it is harder to spin than my t25(it spins around once then stops whereas with that same force my t25 woudl spin maby 3 times before stopping). it doesnt scrape anything from what i can feel/see/and hear. anyway is this normal? im guessing it is just due to the fact that the compressor wheel on the big16g is heavier than the t25? anybody have suggestions

You can't judge anything by spinning the wheel, since its designed to be floating on 20-80 psi of oil pressure ;) So many poeple like how the BB turbos spin for 10 minutes when you give it a twist. Put 80 psi of oil pressure on a regular turbo and see what it does. At any rate, I wouldn't be concerned at all.

hey is it worth porting out the copressor housing outlet? everything else is already ported except for that. also the wheel is clipped.

Not really. Not much to gain there. People have reportedly never seen any gains from doing it, and you should really remove the housing to do it. Hardly worth it it would seem.

yea thats what i was thinking. hey kevin what are you going to be running this coming spring/summer? what turbo and shit? i figure im gonna port out my stock mani and o2 housing. put the big 16g on. full 3inch exhaust, and electronic boost control, with stock 5 spoke 16inch wheels on some decent tires

I'm going to rebuild the stroker using magnus QDP pistons this time, and continue to se the AGP T67/TO4R. Setup really isnt going to change much.
