EGR cleaning?

Hey all...my 89 S10 Blazer is the culprit. I recently replaced the Oxygen sensor...but now it seems to drag on acceleration...I pretty much gotta floor it to get it to accelerate. It will accelerate, though.

Do you think that the EGR needs to be cleaned...maybe the plenum too? Does an 89 have an EGR, and where is it located? And how do I do this job? I am sure that the plenum is probably loaded with carbon deposits...I just want to be able to have a great running Blazer...I am trying to revive this old girl...possibly even a restore, and I don't want to give up on her! She runs...no service engine light...never got any codes read becasue I only have Advanced Auto here, not AutoZone.

All other tune-up parts have been replaced...including the PCV valve...which doesn't seem to want to fit in tightly...it is rather loose...can that cause a problem?

Also, is she a candidate for a CPI and/or a nut kit replacement?

Have your timing set with the timing wire disconnected from the PCM.
