2000 Sonoma door speakers...

Just wondering what size my door speakers are on this truck. It is the extended cab with the third door, if that makes a difference. I think they are 6 1/2' but they might be 6 3/4"...or does that not make a difference? Thanks.

Also, remember that you cannot just pop in aftermarket speakers with the factory deck.

You need to get speakers with the same resistance rating or the lower after market will blow and the amp out of the deck.

Do you happen to know what that rating is? Also, is that going to be a problem with a low end speaker only or could a high end speaker do it too? I just want to know everything before I pull the dor panel. Thanks again.

Factoru is 5-8ohms I think, I don't know for your year.

Most aftermarket is 4 ohm.

You need to check.
