w and k vin

I know this has probably been answered before but i was wondering what the difference between the k and the w vin on a 89 s10 blazer tahoo would meen. Some one told me not to look at a k series but i found one for 1000 with only 98000 original miles on it.

there is no vin k & W.

Only the VIN R 2.8L and Vin Z 4.3L
